12.07.09- Mauro will be dancing for The Argentine Tango Club accompanied by Argentine singer Jorge Ahualli for a performance at the Latin Culture Day 2009 at the Ripley House of Houston. That evening, Mauro and Jorge will reunite at El Gaucho Cafe for a night of Tango and Fiestas Patrias in honor of 9 de Julio.

11.07.09- In honor of Argentine Independence Day, Mauro Gonzalez will be performing for Casa Argentina de Houston at the Museum of Fine Arts, Hosuton. For more information please contact Casa Argentina.

April 2009

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Mauro will join fellow Houston Tangueros in Dance Houston performance Vida del Baile: Latin Dance from Across Houston.
Dance Houston presents a fiery new showcase of the latest Latin dance moves and styles. This Cinco de Mayo, over one hundred and fifty local dancers will take the stage at The Wortham. Vida del Baile highlights the most beautiful and passionate Latin dancers in Houston. With a wide variety of styles, it's got something for everyone.  This concert is a wonderful way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with family and friends.

Starting in August 2009, Mauro will be teaching Argentine Tango at the newly constructed Calhoun Lofts for graduate and preofessional students at the University of Houston. The Calhoun Lofts is the University of Houston's newest residential facility offering loft-style living catering to the mature and serious students at the city's premier metropolitan university. Class schedule to be annouced soon.
